i got my hands on a shifter cart frame so i went and got an old 700cc bike motor, need i say any more :)

today i am making my mounts for the motor and i already changed the sprocket to a smaller one. i will post up the new pics either tonight or tomorrow.

that frame extension looks a little weak... weld in some diagonal braces.

instead of changing the sprocket, why don you get bigger rear wheels + tires.. idk, you would get more than half an inch clearence and you will increase traction... just throwing ideas, dont know much about go karts..

yeah i was thinking the same thing about the wheels and tire i have are the most common i have looked for bigger ones and i have only found a couple and they cost a arm and a leg so i would rather just use a smaller sprocket and increase my top end speed :D

yea i only used starter fluid to see if it would start the gas tank wasn't hooked up so that y it was only for a couple of seconds
