GPD came and told us to leave last gwinnett meet. Talked to the officer and he just said that if we get written permission to be there... we can stay. Well since Winter is here, and the meets has gotten a lot smaller. We need to vote on a new location. I was thinking we should try out a local sports bar/grill. We can keep warm, drink beer, eat some good food, watch football, and talk. Please vote for what we should do....

Tim at cornerstone grill said he is fine with us hanging out in the parking lot.. he actully encouraged us to have meets there again...

plus he said he will even block off an area just for us...

Thought car meets were supposed to be just that. Car meets, no bar/grill or anything of that sort. Back in the day people would stop first and buy what they needed; drinks, snacks, cigs, ect. A car meet should have/be nothing more than a place where cars are parked and people are walking around either giving props or clowning at them.

Sometimes it's a good idea to have permission to meet somewhere and not just stand around but give them a little business so they continue to extend that permission.

Most businesses are not happy about people just hanging out in their parking lots, that's a pretty simple thing to understand. i personally know the GA dinner owners and i doubt they would want to their already small parking lot taken up by us (and rite off p-hill rd...cops ftw), but they do have about 20 spots behind the building that usually stay empty. I can run it a through them and see wasup. I still say screw the bars and grills....lets just do it at a parking lot like i said. Just put some extra clothes on and lets do it everyother thurdsays instead of every thrusday. The lot i have in mind has good 100+ empty spots most of the time.

Everyone can get into hooters. I think its a pretty good idea except hooters is PACKED all the time. at diggers we can get the heated patio. Its a HUGE patio too.

there is a big parrking lot off of I985 and buford dr.....its big parking spot and there is alot of resturant....i think its the best place.......

Because of the cold... The gwinnett meet has died down really really bad. a lot of cars show up but all at different times. The cold runs people out before everyone gets there
