black hawk down was good on PC 2 years ago. build a computer if you like FPS. Farcry is awesome (pc).

Battlefield2 (which Ive heard is excellent)

And best of all you can find demo versions to download and try for free.

Make sure your computer can handle doom 3, or your gunna be pissed if you dont, double the minimum requirements for best ideal game play

i built my computer to play hl2 and doom3, i was a bit unsatisfied by the fact that i had to play the games on standard settings without much enhancement. Those games are the equivilent to videocard whores, they will take all your money and give you stds.

Go with a XBox if for are looking for a good FPS. Get any of the Rainbow 6 games jsut dont ge tthe spliter cells ones. Get the Ghost Recon and BlackArrow ones, things to taht nature. They are real life fps and are crazy online. OR do like me wait until Oct. 31 and wait at Gamestop until November 1st to buy the Xbox 360 pending you buy it up front.
