Telephoto lens...

Early Christmas present came for me today courtesy of a grandparent. She knew I wanted to try to get a couple of lenses for my camera and found this one. It's a 3X HD lens. It's pretty nice but it looks funny with the big ass lens on a smaller point and shoot. Lolol. Here are a couple of initial shots. The first is of my car without lens and zoom all the out. The next is without the lens and zoom all the in. The last is of the lens on and zoomed all the way in.Only thing I don't like is that with the tube adapter, I have to have the zoom all the way in or the picture will look like it was taken through a pipe (last pic). EDIT.............the pics jumble up in the upload, but you can see what I mean. The camera was on a tripod in the same place for all three shots and the car remained in the same place at 40 feet away.

Just a regular Canon Powershot A540 point and shoot. With a 3x telephoto lens. The reason for the "tubed" shot is because in order to use any after market lenses on this camera, you have to have a tube adapter on(when you power on the camera, the lens comes out of the body so the tube puts space between that lens and the after market). All I did was just put the tube adapter on and took a picture through that. Nothing more. Lolol.
