i think you have to press a sequence of buttons before you shut the car off.. and it stays on for like 30 secs/1 min/2 min

Not 100% sure on this particular alarm, but on my Compustar it is done by simply activating the "turbo" mode one time and then thereafter everytime you engage the parking brake it stays running for 2 mins by itself. It's great because you don't need a seperate turbo timer at all. It works great, atleast on my Compustar it does.
