the code is p1126 feul/air metering... did a lil research online and came up with thermostat. i figured that makes sense considering my water pump is going out, but just wanted to know if any one knew exactly, car is 01' altima

Do u have a CAI and a mass air flow sensor...could be that it's messing up the air flow reading...?

Its either the ect sensor, or thermostat. I've seen both, so at least that narrows it down for you. You need a scanner with with a datastream so you can monitor the engine temp. No more than a thermostat costs, just put one in it and see what happens.
