Was cruisng the 3g forums and decided to look in the GS/RS section(4banger). The RS and GS have a 4G64 motor which is an NA variant of the EVO and 2G GST and GSX 4G63.

This one bolted on the:
EVO Head
Brakes
and Wheels

It has a custom turbo kit down pipe and exhaust :goodjob: I actually wished that I had the 4 banger now.

dont forget...4g64 is 2.4 instead of 2.0

I guess it's kinda cool in a 3g, the car looks good anyways. Quite a few DSM guys do this for the extra displacement.

thats one opinion or buy a 3g rs for the cheap be lighter than the evo yet have basically all the same performance parts with the loss of awd the average base whp on this setup is around 300whp. there is a video on www.club3g.com with this guy running the same setup beating stock evos from a dig

yea but the 3g V6's suck ass(I hate mine) these have to be about the cheapest made cars on the planet. I hope to god I get into tech next year so i can get out of this thing

I never really understood why they put a V6 into Eclipses. I always thought they were "high output small engine" cars...but yea, I guess all cars tend to get bigger and fatter as time goes on. Like I said though...I think this swap is how they originally should've come.

nice engine bay, cool idea. I just dont like how 3gs look :( compared to older ones they are ugly imo.

I like that Galant in your sig. Love that bodystyle, they look so good but got so butt****ed when they brought them to the US. :(

Well for a second I thought the guy did a full evo swap, suspension, axles, drivetrain, etc. My friends brother is doing a full STI swap in an old 2.5rs impreza and its ungodly expensive even though the car is already awd.

nah i havent seen it im sure it wasnt that difficult though. and your right though club3g.com is a bunch of ricers. i only post up on there to figure out stuff thats wrong with mine. i absolutely hate my 3g. like i said has to be one of the most poorly made cars I have ever driven in my life. My old 2g had 120k miles on it and it was still a nice ride. too bad my mom totaled it :no:
