I have searched a hundred different sites and cannot find what size tires fits square on a 17x8 and a 17x9 wheel, looking for a drag setup!

...(S13 chassis) also can I fit a 17x9 with a tire that sits square under my fender with just a roll?

The only way you can run a 17*9 on a S13 is pretty much a wide body kit if you want the make the wheels sit flat to the body IMO. Just not enough room in there.

The front should be about 235 to 245 45 17.
The rear should be about 255 to 275 40/45 17.

The biggest problem is tires make by different companies have a little different size. I had 215/45/17 FK-452 tires on my 17x7.5 wheels and the sit square with the wheels. My buddy had the same size tires with same size wheel, but different tire company and his does not sit square. It is not like a stretch, but just goes in a bit.
I may be wrong though...

i have to disagree, i ran 18x10 in the rear and 18x9.5 in the front and i had a 255/65 series tire fit fine, with slammed suspension.

I am sure that you need a pull to run 17*9 with a offset.

Stole this pic off zilvia, 17x9 +17
4 degrees of camber
~10mm pull
25mm spacers
215/45/17

Please search next time, if you are trying to find something about 240sx's, go to some sites like nico and zilvia. This picture is off page 2 of the wheel whore fitment thread.

What is the offset of the wheels?

17x8 +25
17x9 +15 rear
5zigen fn's

so if this guy needs a 10mm pull with 4 degrees of camber with a 215/45, and i am trying to run a 255/40 with no neg camber, what kind of a pull am i looking at... with no spacers>?

If you put a spacer in, you are just going to have less room to the fender. He pulls 10mm for more clearance for the wheel.

I never say you cannot do it, but with what he wants to do (no negative camber), he just cannot, Specially if he has coilovers already (which mean less room).

Widebody your car, Modify the rear quarter panel, and you would be able to do it.

My last question is what kind of mods you have on your car.

i run a 16x9 in the rear with 245/45 no problem. the front is where you run into fitment issuses.

I think you have to cut and weld your fender and put wide body kit on.

no wide body for me, i like stock....i have megan street coilovers sitting pretty low...you know what though, bump going down to a lower size to make it fit, i am just going to keep the car at a descent height and hope the 255 tire does not stick out the side of the car.... kinda like tony's setup here. anyways thx for the knowledge guys.

I guess you will need to roll the hell out of your fender to fit what you want, and the height wont look that great either.

you are going to have to roll/pull, i have 255 on a 9.5 and if you are not running alot of neg camber it will rub.
