You're wrong and you're right. The beef was squashed. The initial beef came about because of the rapper I-20's video that had a dude getting his ass beat that had on a TRAP HOUSE t-shirt. TI thought it said TRAP MUZIK. After sitting down and going back over it, it came to an end. Everything was on good ground. Then the incident with the Grammys came up. Now it's back on it seems. Later, QD.

No. TI and Luda were up for a grammy for ALBUM OF THE YEAR. TI claimed that he had the album of the year, but Luda actually won the award. That's where the track, I get Money (Luda) came from. Later, QD.

Right...the fight was at the ESPY's...Luda's last album was lackluster and so was T.I.'s, hell either one of them could have won. I can't remember but if it was based off of the T.I.'s King album I think he should've won. too.

Back in the day I would of supported Luda 100%, but now he's becoming weak while TI lyrics are becoming better. Luda got dissed by some critics and chances his style up. **** the bull****, don't change your style because others want you too. Even tho I still like him, I lost a little bit of respect for him. On the other hand, each album TI dropped (besides TI vs TIP) showed his skills are becoming better. As for the king of south, nope, but he is the hottest thing out from GA tho.
So Old Luda>>>Old TI
But
New Luda<<<<<New TI

Atlanta is not the South. The South contains from South Carolina to Tennessee all the way over to Texas. Scarface, had a huge part of bringing the South up in the rap world. I never said Outkast didn't. But it seems you're speaking as a religious fan of Outkast. Just like TI fans scream he's the King. Just like Luda fans yell he's the King. I don't like any of the groups, so I don't have that luxury of being biased towards a certain group or individual. I did say, though, that between the two, one of them would be it. But the title King is only as good to the person as their opinion. There is no official title to be given out. If, in your mind, Outkast is King, then that's on you. If someone else thinks TI is King, then that's them. Nah mean. Later, QD.

I do know that southern rap is not just Atlanta but lets face this city puts out more music then any other southern city. I am a big Outkast loyalist since 94. Just to me these guys are like pioneers of southern rap and made a huge difference on the scene. Don't get me wrong UGK and Scarface do deserve some credit. To me Ridn Dirty is one of the best albums ever put out. These guys have been making hits for years. Lyrically you cannot compare OutKast and 3-6 Mafia. They have such a different flow it's uncomparable. But when I compare things-I try to leave out all my biases and look at the facts. Three-6 has done a lot of things and is known throughout. Not saying OutKast isn't but if you take out bias and look at every achievement and numbers sold they're actually not that far apart.

So what do you get for an Oscar?? What about all the underground 3-6 albums and artists?? What about all the movies. I guess they don't count for anything when it comes to helping the South make a name for themselves in music?

I never said that. Neither did you. You mentioned how much they sold. Outkast did MUCH more for South rap than 3/6 did. Not saying 3/6 didn't do anything. Just can't add up to Outkast's numbers overall. Later, QD.

You just proved my point....they didn't accomplish anything in helping the south. Yeah they one a Grammy for a song off of Hustle and Flow!!!! Come on that doesn't make them close to being kings. To me to be considered a "king" you had to have paved the way in some fashion and really made a difference in music. I'm not saying Outkast made a difference like Grandmaster flash or Sugarhill gang but they are in a way examples of those two New York legends for the south.

I think UGK just realized they had all the "street cred" they needed. The new albums were not as gangster as the previous. Dirty Money, Riding Dirty, etc were for a different demographic,IMO. I don't think the new albums are ****ty, just put out for the audience that will pay 15 bucks for a CD, or 50 bucks for a concert ticket. Just my opinion. If I had street cred, and was still broke, I would re-evaluate my financial situation.

EXACTLY, I would take being paid over street credibility any day, street credibility wont pay the mortgage or the high car notes, you feel me.
