View Full Version : Justice served??
Well a close close friend of mine was killed in a car accident, and the other person was at 100% fault (turning in front of him).
turns out that they only got 30 days in jail, community service, 1k$ fine, 1 year license suspension.
Is that justice for killing 2 people to make a left turn that couldnt wait?

Depends, were he/she, drunk/high then hell no. They are called accidents for a reason; otherwise they would be called "on purpose". Losing a friend is hard, maybe I've lost too many and I'm cynical. But if it was truly an accident, the guilt that person will carry is far greater than anything the courts could do.

no you are not cynical, you are level headed :goodjob:
i agree losing a friend is hard, but as echo said accidents are called that for a reason.
i mean i doubt the guy that pulled out in front of your friends thought "im gonna pull out here and purposely harm them"
