!!ya if yall have been following I wrecked my RSX a few weeks back. It came out totaled last wednesday. They gave me a check with a bit of money left after they payed the RSX off and took deductibles and such.

Yesterday I found this at a USED car dealer and well i liked it, it rode nice, and it was a nice family vehicle.

Yes its AUTOmajic/tragic whatever I hate atl traffic with a manual and a screaming baby that throws toys lol.

here it is :)

man i love it...the way it rides and such...I believe it has the sports package. Nice little 17s with some low pros(need new tires bad), stiff suspension...it doesnt feel like it rolls in turns, loaded inside with bluetooth, OnStar, etc. and I believe it sits a bit lower because of the sport package iono though this is my first saab and its fun. From what i was told is that there is not much if any aftermarket support for these...

Nice ride. As with most turbo cars, chip, intake, and exhaust would be nice. Swedish vehicles ftw.

ALVIN
11-04-2007, 07:35 PM
yes swedish ftw...it will prob. be more along the lines of chip, BOV, boost controller first

Hah, I saw the turbo gauge shot and recognized it immediately.

Congratulations on the SAAB man! Great car...tons of fun.

If you're looking for aftermarket support, go to...

http://www.genuinesaab.com/

I've found a good amount of parts there. They're sorta pricey, but all European cars are like that.

Anyway, I'm sure you'll enjoy it...I sure enjoy mine.

Yea...the 9-2X is the SAABaru. That only came as a wagon, and that's just an Impreza in a better looking suit.

is it awd or fwd?

ALVIN

fwd

VooDooXII
11-04-2007, 08:21 PM
Front wheel drive...haha, everyone asks that question.

The upcoming new 9-3's have this "XWD" system...it can send up to 100% of the power to either end.

awesome car, i really like these saabs. What plans do you have for it if any? Honestly id just throw some nice springs and 18" Silver Emotions on it and call i complete lol.

ALVIN
11-04-2007, 08:26 PM
I actually looove the rims that are on it... they have some curb rash so i will have them painted silver again but they are the Saab 9-3 Vector rims. 17x7 5 spoke. It sits decently low for me...I have a bad back so i can try to climb out of anything lol. It will most likely be a bit of engine work and thats it. It is one of the family cars and im getting to old lol (20) but either way i look old.

I dont see the point of a boost controller when you will just have a chipped ecu. Also you might as well recirculate on that nice of a car, or you will prob. have a nice check engine light.

^yea definitely. i saw somewhere that they make bypass valves that make the same stupid noise as bov's if thats what your looking for i would look into those i know they have them for the 1.8t's like what kyle has

Yeah a recirculating bov, is a diverter valve or bypass valve. Forge makes a good one, or you can get a 50/50 half to the atmosphere and half recirc'n.

The only thing I don't like about my car is the overly light steering and clutch.

The seats are the best I've ever been in though.

ALVIN
11-05-2007, 04:54 AM
yea the steering feels light as hell i wish it had more response to the amount of steering or more feel. going around corners and not really feeling it in the steering wheel might have some problems.

I have found a Bypass Valve on the website that VooDoo showed me.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v244/erykv1/sabalab/Saab_5.jpg Yep, thats why i suddjested them:D. If you can add aftermarket and make people think it could have rolled of the assembly like you have it, then thats great taste and style.

yeah forge does make some good ones. a lot of the guys making good numbers on the s.c tC's (300+whp) use the Forge 007 as they recirculate a lot better than the stock ones. they dont leak nearly as much as the stock ones

Very nice, I really wanted one myself but, my car suits me better...
So if I did my research correctly...u've got 2.0L Turbo, 175hp and 195tq stock and if you get a chip...that will boost your numbers well over 200 each...good choice man!

VooDooXII
11-06-2007, 02:28 PM
Yup...Linears have 175 bhp...the "Low Output Turbo".

My Aero has the same 2.0 Liter turbo, but it's "High Output" or something and I put down 210 bhp and 221 lb.ft. of torque.
