I'm lookin at gettin my dad some springs and struts for his sc300 for christmas but hes not really into moding his car a lot but he does want it to handle better. I'm lookin at gettin him a set of taneme springs with a 1.2" drop in the front and a .9" drop in the rear. Is the suspension adjustable enough on these cars so he will not have to get other suspesnion links to get his allignment correct. (rucs, tension rods...) and also, how will the ride quality be compared to stock?

generally, you won't really have any alignment issues if you went with an inch drop. I have eibach sportlines(1.8 inch front, 1.7 back) w/ kyb agx's. The ride quality is ok, but kinda bumpy when on uneven pavement.

is it your struts or your springs that make it bumpy? what are ur struts set to?

the struts/shocks are set to stiff. Keep in mind that over time, the springs will sag as well, making it a lil bit lower.

i'm concerned that his camber adjustmetn willl not be enough to compensate for the drop. i have a 240sx with coilovers and its lowred a good bit and i had to get rucas to correct the rear camber.

Check for TRD ****. It's a lot of money but damn good.

Good call, that's a tall order lol. Seems to me most people buy springs just to drop the car, not caring necessarily about the ride quality. That said, I'm worried that the cheap springs were "designed" solely for that purpose and may not help your dad out that much.

I would assume that Toyota would look at the market for that car and have the appropriate suspension, however components could have worn out etc etc.

yeah, its a 93 so i know the shocks and struts are worn.
