any car can be a sleepr if done right. BUT how much money do you want to spend?
im guessing your not planning on keeping it auto.. and auto to manny swap isnt tooo expensive, but def not cheap.
im also guessing you want to swap the motr, but keep it streetable/ reliable... so if iremmeber correctly that would be the fwd avenir(bluebird) sr20 ? fwd turbo... make it fun and you can build from there.
i like the styling of those cars, lowered a bit they look great imo.
i would like to see the body kept stock, rims + lower is about all is needed imo.

Put an rb20dett in it.
It is the rare fwd twin turbo rb20.
Those were all automatic so your transmission will bolt up perfectly so you don't even have to worry about that.
My boy Gary has a couple of those motors sitting around. He said for you to give him a call at 7703638631. Just tell him its about your b14 and he should know what its about, I told him what you looking for.

Yup..the CA18DET swap is the easiest swap..rated easier than the sr20 swap, they hold boost better because of their iron blocks and don't blow like the red tops or black tops sr 20's, my bud has one, straight swap for 1400 dollars(installed) then upgraded his FMIC, turbo timer, turbo, turbo manifold, bOV, and is now running high 11's on a street driven car at 20 PSI, given that he gets like 15 mpg in the city, haha.
Oh no bolting or anything needed for the swap ofa CA18, everything mounts right up. Good luck

yea...i'll be a REAL sleeper with a FMIC poking though the bumper. theres no such thing as a sleeper anymore. almost any true enthusiast can tell if a car is a fast or slow when we pull up next to it.

pretty much..i turned down a race with a civic that was newer a year ago because i saw his FMIC in the rear view and his HKS stickers when he got beside me, wasn't riced out at all and i heard his BOV so i knew it was true

would not go with a rb swap unless you have loads of cash and are a master tech and have a LOT of time..it's rated one of the worst swaps to make besides the V swaps or whatever they're called.

No get a RB20DETTTT Quad-turbo FWD.
No really, there is no such thing as a factory RB20DETT FWD, I have no idea what the hell the other dude is talking bout.
It really sounds like you wanted a 240, but settled on a 200sx because of its "sx" moniker. If you really want to do what you want to do, then dump that B13, Grab a S13 5-spd, and start from there. No use in sprinting before you know how to walk...

LOL.
I wasn't being serious. Believe me I know all about b13s and their available swaps.
Also, his car is a b14 not a b13.

All kidding aside, your options are fairly limited, especially due to your cars slush-box tranny.
At the very least, you'ld need do a 5spd swap, but you would still end up with an underpowered NA SR20DE. You could then turbo it, but thats no simple task on the naturally high compression SR.
Honestly, nothing short of a full drive-train swap will net you the results you seek. Are you really prepared to spend upwards of 3K+ on this car to make it somewhat fast?
You asked for opinions, and you got mine, sorry if it wasn't what you wanted to hear.

Ah, I just read the part where you say you dont want a 5 spd.
Well, good luck I guess.

There is a FWD CA btw.
Anyway, sell the car and dont get another Nissan they break more then you can keep fixing it ;)
If you keep it, I say do a 5 speed conversion and a Buebird swap. Buy a complete front clip and use its tranny

Oh my god.
Nobody fixes up 240s.
Nobody does hawt JDM motor swaps on 240s.
Nobody uses 240s in motorsports.
Nobody makes parts for 240s.
Nissan's the new Honda, just jump on the bandwagon before the profitable market crashes.
In all seriousness, I love 240s and they can make great performance cars with a realatively enormous variety of ways to build them; But there are just so ****ing many of them on 16 year old boys Myspace's with the word "drift" in the head line.
Please drop your KA on my head.
Also: Halfbaked you make me giggle like a Columbian school girl doing blow in the winter time.

Calm down Fido, you asked a somewhat generic ricer question on a forum without researching it on your own first. Next time I have a couples sites you should go to, before coming to Import Atlanta with your questions.
www.google.com, or maybe www.wikipedia.com
Those two alone will get you far.

If it was an SE-R you have more potential but since you have the GA16DE you don't have much room to play with since its AUTO. If you swap from AUTO to Manual and slap a T28 with the supporting mods you can easily get over 220WHP @ 12-13 PSI with the GA motor.

I can brag that my car it's a true sleeper. You can walk around it and hear it all you want and you won't be able to tell the kind of power that is putting down.
