my buddy at work just informed me that those "arrows" are actually wooden rods to show trajectory. this cop car got shot up in texas by an automatic weapon and those are just to show the way the bullets entered the car, they did a laser diagram and everything. the cop survived, but from the investigation they said he should he should have been riddled with bullets.
