right now im stationed out in abilene, tx. i joined the airforce february 27th and i missed atlanta since the day i left. couldnt touch imports in basic, no time in tech school, and now here my first duty station its like they dont exist. but i was at the hospital for this health problem ive been having the other. and from the sounds of it, if any of the many things they named are what it is, i may end up with a honorable medical discharge. and as much as i want to come back to georgia, and how much happier i would be, the bad is i wont be in the airforce or getting all the benefits anymore, everything is going to seem weird, no more steady income or raises, no more 30 days of leave a year, no more alot of things. the good is i can come back start doing what makes me happy again, not be in the middle of no where, no more dealing with alot of the BS the military has, no more alot of stuff i dont like. so i dont know what to think right now, if it comes down to getting discharged, im sure ill be pissed that i have to leave, but happy that i get to come back. or if i dont get discharged, it will be better for me future wise. either way this sucks

haha why not stay here? i know this place sucks balls. well this area does. or u talking about the airforce? i was looking at the pay and i really wont be making much for along time. most i can ever make is like 5500 a month as a chief master sergeant in for 25 years. **** that! for one thats 25 years away and only 4k more a month. and 2, if i did stay in a long time i wouldnt get past a tech or master sergeant

edit: not saying i dont like the airforce, i like it, im just in a ****ty place, and wont ever get much pay. i do get 780 a month for base housing on top of my pay and 300 a month for food on top of my check for living off base. which seems good but some how im still broke after paying bills
