I was thinking N/A but also had Boost in my mind so what do i need to do??lookin to get around 500-600whp maybe more...it won't be a daily driven car...maybe weekens..who knows...but the motor im working on is a b18c *gsr*..planin to fully rebuild it so i was just wondering how much power i can get out of boost rather than N/A but at the same budget level...but i don't have a budget yet so just help me out here and lmk what's the goodies i need..thanks...:goodjob:

well first and for most i would get the block sleeved but if you dont want to because of the cost than get a block gaurd...now if i get a block gaurd i wouldnt just punch that sucker in...i would highly recommend you get it welded in and seamed out....its a whole lot better and the block gaurd wont move because block gaurds will move around when there is to much vibration being caused...other than that get your low comp pistons and stonger rods and the new bearings..i if you have the extra money you should get the whole rotating assembly balanced....as for the head if you dont want to spend much money on it either...just get a new valve assembly (which includes: valve guides, titanium retainers, valve springs, and vavles etc...)..if you can rev at to 9000 to 9500 rpm..you be making good power...this is probably an easy setup..you wont be able to get 500-600whp but you can get atleast around 400 to the wheels...maybe with alot of tuning you can probably get close to 500whp on race gas...but lmk how it goes buddy and good luck...:goodjob:

500-600 whp will run about $10,000 and IMO is too much for a street car.
Do rods and pistons and you can make 400 reliably and thats much more streetable

Why keeping making FWD car with that much power? The only thing your car is good at is drag racing. But I am not against it, just do what you wanted to do cause I do the same. But you need a complete rebuild with bored over, pistons, rods, crank, etc...
Battlegrounds' people knows more for sure.
