so my gf hit a porsche.



the guy wants $1200.



we can either pay out of pocket, or claim it through their insurance company.

no police report was filed.

shes 16, doesn't have her license yet and is driving on her permit.





if she files it through insurance, how many months are we looking at before she can get her license (we were thinking she had to wait a whole nother year)

Was a police report filed? If not swear up and down an adult was in the car and just file insurance. Filing a insurance claim wont have anything to do with the dmv and when she gets her license UNLESS a officer came to the scene and did his thing

her dad was in the car. no police report was filed. the guy was also a lawyer. for a big company Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP (http://pview.findlaw.com/view/2289374_1?noconfirm=0) but he deals with construction.

the hit wasn't even bad. she pulled too far into the intersection and started backing up.
she dinged his bumper going 2mph and she said it was like a little bump/scratc. she hit him with her TRAILER HITCH
