Have you ever driven a 240z, roadster, or mildly modified 510? You can't say they handle any better or worse or are any more fun to drive than the Porsche's of that time.

A Boxster S vs. a 350z, lolol...from light to light in front of your local mall? In that case who cares what either will do but I bet in a straight line it solely depends on the driver. The Z33 would get EATEN ALIVE on a road course or mountain pass with equal drivers.

How many 350z's do you see on the road? I see at least one or two a day. How many porsche's do you see? Maybe one a week unless you live in a rich area, in which case you too would be driving a porsche.

I would take a 1980 porsche over a new 350Z any day. The porsche will keep gaining value, where the 350Z loses value from the day you drive it off the lot. Buy a 350Z and in 5 years it will be worth half of what you paid for it (or less), buy a Porsche (especially a classic) and it will hold its value a lot better, and maybe be worth more than you paid after 5 years.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the stock 350Z wheels, nor of painting stock wheels, period.

This is thanks to 240 owners who think painting their stock S13 or the stock S14 rims black...it's just fkin' homo.

Now, in the first pictures, I think his rims do look bad...but the 'well photographed' ones look good, and I'm sure in person, it doesn't look too bad.

It's very "JDM"-ish, but in comparison to the rims being stock and not painted, I'd say they look much better painted.

2nd your saying you see more porsche or as many as 350zs?? The argument was that he sees more Porsches than 350z's. Now obviously this is going to vary with where you live, but I can tell you with near certainty that I see more Porsches than 350z's on a daily basis.

And from my experience (which I admit is rather limited in this debate), a 280z is pretty comparable to a Porsche of the same time. 280zx, not so much, but then again most 80s cars aren't that great (*cough* Porsche *cough*)

I hate the cabins of them... it takes alot to make them look presentable and nice... Alot of people think their **** is tight but still is a old ass car... to me i only give credit to those that drive older cars if it is comparable to a new car... wtf a crack dash is a crack dash.. or faded leather with holes is just that faded leather with holes... a blown clutch is a blown clutch.. now i have no idea what kind of shape ur porche is in but if its not off the lot clean... LOL 350z stock off the lot FTW...

And to anyone I can get just as much ***** walking then i can in a car... only time a car will effect your ***** is if you drove around in a ferrari or lambo... bently or some ****... porche cars arent ventage until you get to the gt2 gt3 stage... carreras are nice but overpriced in almost every categorie they are put in...

exactly, the only thing that sucks about a stock 350 is the soft as baby **** clutch. otehr than that. you can't get a better car for the price brand new.

i dont even know how to answer to this.. 1st a nice car can get you ass.. and a porsche is def a nice car.. so are bmw's, bitches are dumb.. 350z's i know are pantie droppers.. :thinking: 2nd you cant generalize your opinion on old cars.. some people are into them, some arent.. i personally like to own newer cars, but it doest mean i don't respect a old car that is kept up..

I know this was a few pages back but it's true. I tell girls my Rx-7 was built to compete with a Porsche 944 Trubo(it actually won a few of the comparisons when price was factored in, and was a close second beforehand) and I am dropping panties via association! That's a lot of power for Porsche. I do however think that old 911s have a hideous bulbous shape (like a frog with warts and bulging eyes) and I don't know why so many people like them. NEW 911s and Caymens are the **** though.

Buttery smooth, seats for friends, amazing handling, and great fit and finish. 350Z is a cheaply built interrior in Japanese "muscle" car. It'll get off of the line faster than an 8 but it'll lose so much on each corner. I will say that a Z looks better, just giving you a car that you can compare it to in the price range. Also, if you step up just a hair, the EVO/STi take the cake.

i dont care about 5 seats, if i did, i wouldn't have gotten a Z. i dont care about practicality, i dont need to be driving people everywhere.

it's got room for me, my *****, and luggage.

i test drove an RX8 the first time cuz i liked the look, i had 3 choices in mind.

s2k/350z/rx8 and the other 2 just didnt compare. on paper nor when you drive them.

and as far as the interior of my car being cheap..? compared to what? lol. ill tell you an RX8 doesn't use better parts. and it doesn't look better either. not to mention it's slow as piss.

You're right, Tech isn't hard to get into, it is hard to stay in though. But you don't see too many dumb kids here. I consider myself dumb because I chose to go to this god awful school.
