oh SNAP ricky!

the news just broke at 1:23ish this morning.. watching sports center..

the yankees did him wrong!

I hate the Yankees, but he's a great skipper.. Girardi? who? booo!

I guess Don Matt. will be there.. they need to start looking at the off season trades/market.. Dodgers will be a FORCE in the NL...

doubt it.. my vote is on the cubs.. to get a rod i meani dont think they will. They have talent at the cubs already, bringing in a high priced player lowers morale.

He declined the yankees offer to to come back as the bench coach. I think he's pissed he didn't get offered the manager's position.

Cubs are too cheap for A-Rod. We already have a stud 3rd baseman who might not be the same hitter A-Rod is, but he solid at the plate or in the field. A-Rod would be amazing if he was hitting at Wrigley every day. 80HR season anyone?

arod will not goto the cubs

btw i think the braves MAY push for him, they unloaded renteria and andruw aint comin back, but i doubt they will

i dunno about torre though, i mean he did good in NY, but who wouldnt with a lineup like he had?

before going to NYY his record was 894-1,003 .471, i would not call that a good manager . then he went to the yankees and averaged over .600, so i think he is probably an ok manager but is HIGHLY overrated.

he only made it to the postseason ONCE (before yankees) and that was in 82 with the braves (which they got swept in the first series)
