You could try Outdoor Adventures in Smyrna, I'm not sure how cheap they are but they stock nearly every fire arm known to man.
I bought my dad a .45 there a couple years ago for Fathers Day. I think it was around $400, not sure.
He picked it out and stuff so I dont know what brand it was or anything about it accept it was a pretty nice .45.

Check out the taurus 24/7 .45
It is a very well balanced, and nice shooting gun. Probably one of the better .45s made. It also holds 10+1. They are in the $375 range. It was also the NRA handgun of the year in either 2005 or 2006.

You're going to take this the wrong way and I don't care much for talking about another's family, but this has to be the bottom of the barrel as far as your life being aired out on IA goes. You put yourself out there for everyone to read and then get mad when someone says something you don't like about it. But this is it right here. I couldn't imagine ANY Mother that had normal mothering instincts, a sense of moral upbringing for her children to put herself on the line like that. To go around the law so that you may illegally own a weapon. I don't about your responsibility record, but it would seem to me that hers is questionable. Later, QD.

you're exactly right , and my mother has very good judgement , plus its not like im gonna wear it around on my side . she is gonna keep it in her room when me and my stepfather are'nt out shooting . plus dont you think if i wanted to kill someone i could just use one of my rifles , that is in my name ? personally i think a gun is a gun and i dont see what the big deal is .
