Went Fishing at West Point

Got out on the lake at around 7am. You have to go to Alabama to put in because all other Ramps are closed...a few might be open but i dont know. We were fishing down by the damn in about 45 Feet of water with Bass shiners on tree tops, drop line about 15-20 feet and your on fish!!! The one pic with 2 hooks in the fishes mouth lol he was a hungry son of a ***** he grabbed my dads minnow then swam under the boat and ate mine so we both were fighting him from either side of the boat lol. We didn't realize it till we got him in >< lol. The fish range from between 2Lbs to 16Lbs ....caught 28 in about 6 hours :) we had a good day!!

West point is the **** with a boat. i use to fish there with my dad on the bank and have caught some good size fish. Great catches there on the striped bass. Good eats fo sho!!!!

damn yall caught alot of stribed bass. Whats the biggest yall caught so far? Wats the best time to fish now? i been busy and haven't been able to get out on the lake but seeing how yall caught that much fish makes me want to go out to the lake this week, but thats some good fish yall caught though

biggest one was 16lbs he pulled like a freight train!!! they might look small but good god they are powerful!

yup make sure and get good sized ones though Bass shiners. if you would like to meet up one weekend if you got a boat or something i can show you where the fish are!!! like i said in my first post i go every weekend!!!

yes there are a lot of hybrids in there

those are stripers!!! :) Striper are long and pointed.... Hybrid have a hump just behind there head.

there are a **** load of hybrids down there!!! we just didnt get in any schools of them =C

nah West Point Lake in Georgia :)
loooks like fun though! i love fishing... lolz last time i went fishing was in lake lanier.. and the fishing guide said the fish tasted like lobster :thinking: :thinking: :screwy: lol
