i have a gold "92 volvo 244...it was turbo but i rebuilt the engine. my fast car is now my black "83 volvo 244 glt. i have a boost controller (13 psi daily), turbo timer, upgraded fuel pump(walbro), added intercooler, 75 shot of nitrous into intercooler, 3" exhaust(not installed yet), b&g lowering springs, racing seats with full harnesses, and 17" adr competition wheels(black with polished lip). its been my project sense march...i should be pushing about 230 hp/ 250 tq without nitrous. we'll c on dyno day. megasquirt, brembo brakes, T5 transmission and lsd(3.73 rear end) are coming soon, im thinking of drifting it...ill post pics later.

Got a volvo meet planned for Dec 13th if u guys are interested. So far, its going to be at Andretti's at 1pm.

And is Zeke the shaved head guy in a wheelchair? I know him from a while ago. he used to have a red 850r wagon that he traded for a Dakota R/T which he supercharged. Then sold & got a V70r I believe. He has i think 3-4 volvo's

Doubt the brakes will be on, I'm going to go ahead and paint the calipers (yellow) do a fluid flush (ATE Super Blue again) and thinking about ordering some stainless lines.

Not really what this thread is about but... I upgraded to the 12" front rotors from the 11" also painted my calipers and rotors and flushed with ATE Super Blue Racing fluid. Installed a "beefier" firewall mount over the weekend.

good deal on the brakes. Have you upgraded pads as well? I hear the EBC are nice on 850s. Also, I spy a stock IC piping arrangement. Why didn't you do the reverse IC piping?

I run PBR Metal Master pads. As for the rip kit, it doesn't really do anything but look better. I plan to get a fmic kit at some point.

IC. Do they help? I too upgraded to some brembo rotors over the summer, but kept the stock pads. Did the metal pads eat the rotors up? I hear mixed messages on them.

My first set on Brembos lasted 3 years, not bad considering how drive the car at times. My only complaint is they are dusty as hell.
