Theres a great intelligent thing to spend your trust fund money on.

That set up is beautiful.

Or you could invest 20 in a house and 20 into something that will pay you back enought to pay for the house and a nice car. I really hope you are not going to school to be a financial advisor because you sound like a dumb kid with too much money.

top mount? :screwy:

is that not just an intercooler sitting on its side with an air dam going up to it through the front bumper? many fc's do it cuz of the long nose. not really a top mount at all, unless i have no idea wtf a top mount is.

a top mount is something like a subaru or FC TII. where the intercooler sits on top of the motor. that setup is a V mount which is very effictive if made correct. it allows fresh air to go to the rad. and intercooler. it doesnt past through one to get to the other resulting in cooler air to both. better for racing :goodjob:

Makes sense but the vents don't appear to be adequate to support maximum air flow.

$20k down payment isn't much these days, with average house prices being $200k, and everyone recommending atleast a 20% down payment. Which would work out to be $40k atleast. At 25 its better to aggressively invest your money, instead of throwing it down the drain on a used car.

Yeah...after reading this thread I don't think it to be wise to spend 20k on a used car and that investing it would be and have a better result. In conclusion it seems to me that in order to be succesful and thankfully we have those who will point us in the right direction here on IA. Thanx.

His key phrase stated that he'll be 25 years old when he gets it.

He'll probably have a different approach then!

Probably!

key word being under 20, if i cant find a car significantly under 20, im not going to do it. thats just the baseline, i have those trust funds invested in 3 pharmasudical companies, and the stocks are expected to at least triple within the next few years. i can dream cant i? lol.

car looks good.

On a side note you don't need anywhere near 20k to put down on a house.

I bought my house with 3k down.

A lot of people buy houses with zero down.

Especially if you are going to sell your house in 3-5 years which you probably will if it is your first home, there is no need to put 20,000 into it. You could put that 20,000 into another investment for 3 years that may make more money than the equity in your house.
