Ok, so I have a friend whos having issues with his HID kit. He has a Honda Eg hatch. First of all, the kit works, both Hids turn on, its just that on the left side they don't seem to work.
The high nor low beams work. The high beam blinkers on and off, and the low won't even turn on. And on the right side, the when you turn on the high beams the low beams blinker... on the left side we tried hooking or getting the ground wire to touch the ballast but nothing. Could there be something wrong with the wiring or could there be another problem? They're an H4 set up. Any help will do, reps for any advice.

ps; not sure if it matters or not, but he bought a 10k kit. We're not noobs, we just can't seem to figure this out, we've done alot of HIDs installs, so we're almost 100% positive that it has to do with the wiring. When he puts on his stock halogen lights, the left one also seems to be alot dimer.

ummm. Does he have a bi-xenon kit or whatever, because i was under the impression that you lost the usage of your high beams when you installed regular hid into a h4 housing.

Nope, normal headlights. No projector lens'es. His kit came with low/high beam.

Yeah, the one bulb has the low/high beams on it. Im sure its not the kit, more like something with the wire or ugh I don't know.. He bought the kit from Nitro

That's the bi-xeon kit. Pretty sure is the ballast. But you can switch the bulb to the other side to make sure. If it works, the ballast is bad. If it does not work, it is the bulb.

If it does not work, it is the bulb.We already tried that, twice. They both work, fine. Its just when we try to hook up the kit on the left side, it doesn't turn on. Could it be anything else?

I was trying to make sure what I read was right. Either wiring or fuse now then...

that would be the best bet. When i installed my hid kit, the I had to flip the plug from the harness to the ballast upside down. It looked, and fit like it should go one way, but the lights would come on.

The kit is great, both lights work and everything, they would look tight as hell if we can get it to work. Once again, great sell dude. We just have to fix this small problem before we take any pictures. =D

Does your kit come with the relate harness? If it does, I recommend you use the relate harness, I think they should help. Stock harness work, but they are not suppose to be plug in for the hid kits.
