I just got here, I'm trying my hardest NOT to become a bandwagon fan. I'm happy whether they win or lose because either way I'll get to see some riots.

I hope the Rox pick it up, yesterday wasn't even funny.

You f*cking bandwagonning morons seem to be forgetting that the world series is a 7 game series, not a 1 game series.

i'm not a rockies fan, but i f*cking HATE Boston with a passion.

it's a fact that 80% of Boston is built on top of landfill -- maybe that's why they're f*cking garbage.

I'm not going to lie, I hopped on the bandwagon in '04. But I'm definitely not there anymore. Like someone said earlier, they have just become another version of the Yankees. Red Sox ftl (or at least I hope so). Always will be a Braves fan.

Haha, I was going to guess Yankees, but I didn't want to be so bold.

My MLB Axis of Evil (in no particular order):

1. Mets
2. Yankees
3. Redsox

Although Redsox is a failry recent addition to the list (who cares back when they sucked? :)).

True but i believe still that the Redsoxs will win who knows though the NL rule will probably shake things up in there line up. But Im still faithful even when we were down 3-1 to the indians i still believe haha. but yeah redsoxs all the way

Alan®

I'm a red sox fan but i'm not going to sit here and say that they are going to win for sure. as it has already been pointed out several times this is a 7 game series and we are only 2 games in with the red sox winning both. but this could turn out to be another 96 world series where the braves scored close to 30 runs in 2 games and then lost the world series. last night was a good game but the problem the red sox right now is getting scoring opportunities going with more than 1 out left in the inning. all of the points scored in the first game were with one out left in the inning

Yes yea i was waiting for the bangwagon comment... Its more of a product of my relationship.. I never was a baseball fan.. I have always been more of a football fan.. Always loved football.. but when your in a long term relationship you try to get into things your sig. other is into.. then you can do those things together. Like I said before.. my boyfriend was born and raised in south boston.... baseball there is like a whole nother world compaired to georgians and the braves.. but whatever I enjoy watching it... and hopefully next year if all goes as planned will get to go to fenway and expierence it myself...

I find it funny how, before 2004, you wouldn't even know Red Sox fans existed down here in the south, but after they won (finally, after 96 years) you can't go anywhere without seeing someone with that "B" on their hat (which i'm guessing stands for "bandwagon"). Don't say it's not true, because i guarantee if someone sh*tty like the Royals or Cincinatti won the series next year, you would see a surge in "fans" because it's the cool or hip thing to do...

the red sox are a poser type team anyway....sort of the like the bulldogs....most people dont follow them, even know what division their in, or can name the star players without some help, but theyll rep the team on a daily basis like theyve been down from the beginning

im not a sox fan, but you cant deny they handed the rockies their ass....im more surprised the rockies made it with one big name (helton, b/c who can name anyone on that team other than him) versus being swept by the sox

BKgen®
10-29-2007, 12:49 PM
the rockies shouldn't have even been in the world series.

matt holliday still hasn't touched home yet.

Alan®
10-29-2007, 04:32 PM
matt holiday and helton are the only people they had going for them. becket schiling dice k and the guy that pitched last night pitched a specacular series all though they had okajima to almost wreck things for them on more than one occasion. i think that the mv[ should have been a shared thing between lowell and papelbon. papelbon had a spectacular season being called up in september whoda known. it will be interesting to see what happens in the off season though with so many contracts running up this year if im not mistaken ortiz's runs out this season as well. hat really goes of to ortiz for playing as well as he did with a completely torn up knee like he did for the past two runs there were times when ortiz was booking it around 3rd to get home and you could see he was in so much pain it almost made me cry. hopefully lowell gets a contract that he wants from the red sox i would hate to see him go back to the yankees. i hope the sox dont sign arod as he is probably the biggest dbag in baseball short of our new home run record holder. chicago i believe was talking about signing him but the only way they can do it is to make him part owner of the team. glad to see the yankees got screwed out of 21 million with him not returning next year. and it will be interesting if tore goes to la but i think he should retire the guy looks like hes about done.

f*ck you, arod's not a dbag. he wouldn't lower his standards low enough to play with the sox anyway.

unless they paid enough :(

Alan®
