Found one in my room and figured Id give it a whirl. Almost got the whole white side and it is kinda complicated.

Oh and I know there are tutorials and **** I would just rather try it on my own.

I remember having to make an X on the red side that may make an X on the orange side, but then I got bored really quickly and started playing some Guitar Hero 2. I get bored quickly... :screwy:

there's one guy that did it in a matter of minutes go on youe tube. personally i have spen over 3 months and never fully got it finished lol. put that was just a every now and then thing when i had spare time and was really bored.. mostly during school. umm the siad therotically it could be done in under 3 minutes becuase it is a big mathmatical problem that can be solved rather quickly.. only thing is they said no ones brain is fast enough to compute al the eqautions at once as of that of hat a super computer can do

It sucks I can almost get 1 full side except for like 1 square. Then when I go to the next side to work on it I end up mixing up the side I finished. It def. is tricky.

I do know that the middle of every side never changes and that is the base color for that side. SO I am working off of that. And go to you tube and there is like a 3 year old doing it in minutes.

I guess once you mess with them for a bit you start to get all the moves down real good. Like how to switch where a cube is and then put it where you want it. Instead of just random turning trying to get it to work lol.

I can do them, takes me around a minute or so. The fastest cuber in the US is actually a senior at Chattahoochee high school. His average time for five solves at the world championships in (Budapest I think?) was just over 13 seconds.

It's a memorized algorithm. There are different approaches, I've used one style forever but it's one of the slower ones. If you have someone teach you and practice for a couple of hours (long car rides are good, assuming you're not driving) you'll be set. And when you ARE driving, the cube's an amazing way to make traffic seem much faster. Try to solve before the light changes.

Hammer + Glue = Solved in about a minute.

Seriously though, it'll take me like 5-10 mins to knock one out.

I can take the stickers off and put them back on so the cube is solved in 3 minutes flat

lol i stand corrected lol. but damn. how many turns does he do it in. there is another thing where it is suppossed to be able to be completed in just a few turns

my best was just under 2 minutes. Once i got it the first time i kept doing it over and over and over just to make sure i really had it down. Then i did it once a day just to make sure i still had it locked down
