i finally got my first speeding ticket. 63 in a 40. i hope my insurance isnt going to go up too much, i already pay 207.50 / month for liability.

oh, and the **** wrote me up for my brake light being out. ******.

all i gots to say is dont speed thru hamilton mill.

yea, i'm still waiting to see how much my insurance is gonna go up after my 21 over ticket :(

I got a 79 in a 55 on 85 downtown, plus i have to go to court to get my friends carbon 15 back due to they didn't know whether or not it was a machine gun, its a bushmaster carbon 15 9mm pistol. Check this out though it was registered in his name, it took six of them to figure out what to do with two of us, we were in handcuffs the whole time for about 30 min. and then they wanted to take us in just to phuck with us. I mean I let them search the car too. They swore up and down we had something. I left my glove compartment locked and they still didn't find anything cuz we didn't have anything. I was ask by 7 different cops " Have you been arrested before? Do you have any outstanding warrants? Where do you work? Do you even have a job? Why carry this around? ANSWER: CUZ ITS LEGAL TOO Where are you going? ANSWER: WHY?" Plus have them try to take your 250 dollars and try not to give it back after everything checks out.

im trying to figure out a way to get out of the speeding one. i think i can use the fact that he threatened me with made up charges. like at first he said "were you racing ur buddy back there?". my friend derek in his 240 was following me and wasnt even very close behind...

and then he said "son, do you know how fast you were moving back there?" and i said not exactly. so then he said "i clocked you at 91 at the top of the hill" which is BS my car BARELY even goes 85. so he ended up writing me a ticket for 63 which is still probably faster than what i was actually moving. plus i was going downhill and there was an unmarked car next to me going just as fast. i know this b/c he pulled in to talk to the cop who pulled me over.

you guys think i can get out of it?

I don't know if you will but, I think im going to play the harrasment issue on the six officers part when it was just two of us my friend and I.

this is why i keep spare bulbs in the car. Around here, cops are notorious for stopping you for equipment issues. In addition to wanting to search the car :mad:.

i got searched once and put on the ground in cuffs for NOTHING. i got no ticket or anything. and i dont smoke or anything so they didnt find anything. it was bs.

and it doesnt make sense to fine somebody for having a light out. thats money that i could be using to fix the light... i didnt even know it was out.

speeding is difficult to get out of. I'd expect your insurance to jump 50-100 a month rough estimate.

going up $600-$1200 cause of your first ticket??? come on now. maybe like 200 a year or something as long as its your first

yeah its my first speeding ticket, and the way the cop was threatening to make up bull**** i can MAYBE have it reduced or somethin.

and if it goes up 50 a month, ill be paying 250/ month for LIABILITY

if it goes up 50 a month and your paying 250 its time for a new insurance company.

no, i just have a really ****ty record. 2 at-faults when i was 16 :doh:
what i have now is the cheapest insurance i could find. you have any recommendations on cheaper stuff?
