I recently had to do this for a friend and thought this might be of interest to someone here. If its not US, it should be blocked... The amount of spam his server has seen, has dropped by 90% after my modifications, scripting, and rules changes.

rename to ".htaccess" or extract the data out and put in your existing htaccess file.
