Has anybody noticed how many cameras are up along 400 in the roswell/alpharetta areas now? They are literally every 500 feet so I doubt they are just traffic cams. Anybody know the deal?

All the time but I havent noticed many cameras- i doubt they are as thick as 400

Most likley will be used to work with the traffic lights you see installed at every on ramp on GA400 now, They will start to monitor each area once the lights are activated soon and control the flow of new traffic coming on

Camera's don't do shit. If what they're trying to do is catch people speeding, they might as well stop. When I have my car I always drive way over the limit on 85, and yeah they have alot of camera's. So what? That doesn't stop people from speeding or driving in the HOV lane without another person.

Camera's don't do shit. If what they're trying to do is catch people speeding, they might as well stop. When I have my car I always drive way over the limit on 85, and yeah they have alot of camera's. So what? That doesn't stop people from speeding or driving in the HOV lane without another person.You think they're there to catch speeders? lol

From 1996-2003 there was about 2.5 million [claimed] auto accidents in Georgia resulting in almost 13,000 deaths, i'm sure many of those were on the major highways/interstates...with a majority of them unexplained. Someones to blame for an incident and you can't always rely on witnesses.

open your eyes they are on ALL the freeways around atlanta. :goodjob:Been on 85 and 285 for years, every few light poles down the center or on the outside if it's in a turn...facing both directions. Hwy 400 is the last to get them like the rest, overall speeds on 400 are NOTHING like 85 or 285.

Good Job Jason! Someone Else knows about the site... use it... That is what the cameras are for!I haven't been in a regular office environment in probably 4 years that most people didn't use that site regularly during rush hour times...check it out and see how bad it is and what to avoid or which direction to go if there is a major problem.

I've screen captured quite a vehicle accidents and fires with the cameras, there is also a back door so you can access ALL the highway cameras, not just the ones listed on georgia-navigator...if you look at the list you will see each camera has a number but there is alot of skipped numbers...most fire fighters will know how to view it.

I'm not sure where iim going to school because out of state is going to kick my ass and i'm going to an art school and that **** is really really expensive
