So my speakers in my truck are about shot, well they are blown but still make noise... And its only getting worse. Its a 01 GMC Sierra. It has seperate tweeters and speakers, not sure of the size. The rear I think are 6.5s..

Concerning the front, what are some suggestions on some affordable components? Say 150 bucks?

from the application guide in scosche it says 6 3/4 for the fron and 4x6 in the rear so you could go with a 6.5 component in the front and some 4x6 spearkers for the rear

if space allows id make some 4x6" to 5 1/4" adapter for a better real fill sound

I would suggest looking into the Memphis Reference Line. I have owned 2 pairs of the reference series 6.5" components and they have great sound.

you can also look for a set of CDT. They are some of the best entry level components I have ever heard.
