I think there's a position in phillip's dept... not sure though. You don't get dirty over there haha.

Sl65amg, go to talk to him. They usually work around school schedule if that's what you're concerned about.

Are there any other positions? I have experience, but not in a work environment. :)

I need a Mon-Fri type thing though.

So interested in this, but I don't have a license but I do have reliable transportation to work. No real work experience but everyone and their mamas have changed oil. Do you need your own tools too?

Only lube techs. Main shop is not really looking.

You'll need to have a license to be in this industry... you'll need your own tools, but really all you need to start off over there is a 17mm wrench, oil filter plier and a 19mm with impact haha.

what do you do there Shandy? Also, did you hunt down Jabob for your valve cover?

Yeah I've always envied Philips job up there. At Nissan the lube techs do the PDI and accessories in their free time or after hours. If the shop is slow or we've had like a billion trucks come in then they'll pass the PDIs through the shop.

I'm sooo glad I'm out of that rat race for the time being. I may go back but it'll only be if I'm a Master Tech. That paperwork doesn't mean **** to the techs but it means the world to your paycheck.

I'm interested as well, but don't have any 'professional' experience. Is it best to apply in person?

Also, you know if the're looking for service advisers by any chance?

i dont know if this "accident" is on my record or not but does having experience negate the fact that ive hit something( no certificate of driving excellence was given-ticket)? thats the only reason id think that i wouldnt get the job....

I have no control over who gets hired or not there. It's whether or not you brought up a good interview. Good luck to any of you guys that went in! Hopefully I see some faces that'll last haha.
