I was just wondering....if you are running with all bolt-on mods, would it be a good idea to get tuned? Or, would it not be worth it?

I was thinkin about this, becuase...through an experiment i did on my car with bolt-ons, i found it runs with more power and less noise, when i've got more gas goin through it. Does this mean i need a tune or whatever??

most bolt-ons to a NA motor really wont require a tune.. but the only way to know if your makin power is witha before and after dyno. Noise isnt a way to tell. the most you would have to do and you might not even have to do is reset your ecu, meaning pull your battery for 10minutes.... but thats just so your air flow meters etc, can recalibrate for the changes with the bolt ons.

bolt ons on a 2.2 wont need any kind of tuning. lol they dont make enough parts for that engine for you to have to get it tuned. i dont even think they make a program to tune it

They could tune the drive axle controllers though...
