Porsche PCCB (Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes) is a very nice system.

You can pick that up for about $8000-10,000 I do believe. As an option from Porsche I think that it is sub $10,000. Granted, it used to be about $12,000, but the price has since reduced. I didn't opt for them for a few reasons. However, they are a good system.

I have front disc, rear drum brakes and they stop me fine, plus downshifting...

Ya.... but does one really need a $10,000-$15,000 braking system? A $1000 Baer kit will stop you pretty damn quick... I don't need or want brakes that are going to snap my seat mounts loose.

I would buy them, just to tell people my brakes costs more than their car.

And then cry when I realize that I put them on a 1990 240sx that cost a 14th of that.

If you've got the money, I see no harm in spending it. :dunno:
