I searched and didn't find anything posted about it.

It looks like the passenger in Nick Hogan's accident will spend the rest of his life in a nursing home. Sad story.

CLEARWATER (Bay News 9) -- The man injured in the crash involving Nick Bollea likely will spend the rest of his life in a nursing home.
Bollea, the son of wrestler Hulk Hogan, was driving his Toyota Supra Aug. 26 with Graziano when he crashed in downtown Clearwater. A nurse hired by the court to examine Graziano stated in a report that because of his condition, at best Graziano may only "open and close his eyes.''

This information comes from court documents, according to Bay News 9's partner paper, The St. Petersburg Times.

The paperwork also revealed that Graziano's mother Debra is petitioning a Pinellas County judge to allow her to assume guardianship of her son. Graziano, 22, remains in critical condition at Bayfront Medical Center.

i dont know all about knowing the risk before getting in the car. i would expect my friend not to do something stupid with me in the car, but on the other hand who is to say he wasnt encouraging it. so i dont believe anyone is at fault, just an unfortunate accident.

Nick is human too and i am sure he feels remorse just like any of us would. I feel bad for his friend.

Clearwater police say they're still investigating the accident. No charges have been filed against Nick Bollea, but the Clearwater Police Department has referred the case to state prosecutors.

If that was one of us driving are asses would have been in jail already. But you do have to remeber he is still a minor 17 years old.....

i remember hearing this as well... but then again, an 800 rwhp supra on street tires....   seems more likely that he gunned it, when full boost kicked in, he lost traction which could somewhat feel like hydroplaning.... and then proceeded into a tree... or w/e he hit....

sad indeed especially for the victims parents. its bad enough they endured the heartache of knowing he may never come home due to his responsibilities with protecting the country... but then to get home in one piece only to lose everything in a car accident really sucks.

im sure there will be a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the hogans.

ONCE AGAIN, you are missing the point. We are talking about a "celebrity here' , hence my "minority" insinuation. Nick Bolea, is NOT in the majority here. And he has some history with run ins with the police. Looks like he was given plenty slaps on the wrist and wake up calls that foretold the future.

Well, I'm just talking from experience. When I was young, I had major **** up that I could of prevented. You feel like s hit after you realize what you did. That alone FORCED me to develop and change my life around (for the good). Seriously, I dont think I could of bounce back if everyone was kicking me while I was down and throwing up how bad I f ucked up. Yeah, I agree that he should pay for his actions (like I did), but at the same time shouldnt have to live the rest of his life with his head down due to a mistake he did as a teen. :goodjob:

What you say is true, but here is the thing. I never said that I think he should be the only one to "pay".

Im sure we all would have a history like Nick if we were given the things hes been given. Lambo's, high HP Supra, etc, etc. And I have NO problem at all with people giving their kids nice things, however the recipient needs to realize, that with a machine like that comes great responsibility. Countless numbers of times he has shown to be irresponsible yet was given only slight reprimands in society. His dad EARNED his fame and fortune by the things he did. Nick Bolea was BORN into it. However, I would hold his father just as accountable as Nick, because once again he is not an adult and does not have the maturity and life experiences that his father has. Shame on them.

Doesn't matter. He has a drivers license. He can legally drive any car that is street legal on the road.

People in stock Civics tear up way more sh*t and ruin way more lives than Nick. We hear about all of his sh*t bc he is a celeb, when I bet 60% of people on here has a worse driving record than him.

Who cares if he was born into money - that matters none either. His "slight" reprimands are due to gray areas in the LAW - that's not his problem at all. Rules are rules, and the consequences should be the same as any other kid - if that doesn't happen b/c he is Nick Hogan, then it's a legal/lawful issue - NOT something that Nick should be blamed for. I've gotten MAJOR miles knocked off speeding tickets that shoulda have landed me under the jail - officers have leeway in any situation, and the law is designsed to bend and not just break - this is simply a result of that.

Another person that misses the point. Im sure there are way more people that ruin lives driving Civics or any other car. However, they aren't celebrities and arent looked at differently under the law. Even you cant deny the fact that Nick is walking the streets a free man right now because he has a "celebrity" status.

And by the way, the 60 percent of people that have worse driving records than him have served way more punishments as well than Nick im sure.

Sometimes you hear that celebs get off because of their status...then other times you hear they were harsh cuz of their stayus.

Examples:
-Mike Vick...too harsh I heard a lot of people say.
-Paris Hilton...too harsh

It's not over yet, either way. They haven't concluded their investigation. Youdon'r know what will happen yet.

Heres a quote from a magazine

In my silver Viper, I was driving from Miami to Tampa. I got pulled over going 107 [mph] and the guy let me off. He’s like, “Hey, I know who you are, just keep going, ya know.” Dude, I got back on the road and two minutes later I get pulled over going 113 [mph]. Another highway patrol from the same county said, “I just heard on the radio that my buddy pulled you over and let you go. I’ma let you go this time. It’s your second warning. You get pulled over again, you’re probably going to go to jail.” Three minutes later, [I was] doing 123 [mph] in a 50 [mph zone]. The guy is like, “Hey, I just heard you got pulled over twice in the last 10 minutes. I got to write you a ticket.”

I think hes had more then enough chances!

"Douche bag almost killed his friend and now can drive again! This kid should be brain dead not his friend!

Hulk Hogan's son Nick has been granted permission to drive for business-related purposes just months after he was jailed for a drunken car crash that left his best friend brain damaged.

The 18-year-old served five months of an eight-month sentence after pleading no contest to a felony reckless driving offense following a horrific car crash in Clearwater, Florida in 2007 which left his friend and passenger, John Graziano, severely injured.

He was released from Pinellas County Jail in October.

Hogan's lawyers recently petitioned for the teen to be allowed to get back behind the wheel for work, despite his license technically being suspended until 2011, as per the terms of his sentence.

And the motion has been approved by officials at the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, insisting Hogan is within his rights as long as he obeys the driving restrictions."
