You know, I've always wondered if anyone has done it, but if ya'll take time to remember the Infiniti J30, It was basicly to the 300ZX as the G35 is to the 350Z. It used the same VG30DE as the 300ZX, but was only available in atx. But the J30T has the hicas and the LSD. I wonder if someone has ever did the twin turbo swap with the 5 speed. I bet that would have been cool.

Another swap that seems pretty interesting is the last gen Mazda 929. It was the J30's competition. Same combination; V6 (JEZE 3.0L DOHC) mated solely to a 4 speed atx. In Japan, the previous gen 929 in japan came with the 13B turbo rotary engine with a 5 speed. My suggestion? Last gen 929 with 20B turbo and 5 speed FTW :yes:

What do ya'll think? What are some other interesting swaps?

Some other interesting swaps.
I've see that type of swap before and I've always thought that was bad ass. I owned 4 of those body styles, ranging from 1980 to 1984, one of them was turbo. I always wondered if it could git being that the SOHC engines barely fit.
