I finally broke down and bought another XM radio to replace the one that was crushed in my wreck in January. I had a skyfi 2 before, but this time I ended up getting a basic XM Express from Wally World(Wal-Mart). I never terminated my service after the wreck since I could listen to XM on my computer. I figured why go through the trouble to change over to Sirius since I already had an XM account.
So, what do you guys prefer and why? What influenced your decision?

Sirius is my ****. I will never use XM. From past posts on this topic, Sirius is the majority ruler on IA, lolol. Later, QD.

What makes it better though? Does Sirius play better songs or is it the sports channels maybe?

XM is my ****. I do not need Sirius. From past posts on this topic, I AM the ruler of IA. :D
On the real, I like the variety of music on XM better than Sirius. I don't listen to sports much on the radio, nor talk radio. I do like the Traffic and Weather better on XM. I have used both.

I'm pretty happy with the stations on XM, although I have yet to try Sirius. I'm not big on listening to sports either. I'd rather watch or play them.

QD is right, Sirius has Shade 45, and Alt Nation.

my head unit is XM ready, i have been contemplating getting XM for a while now...
what exactly does it mean to be XM ready? Does that mean that on the screen it will display what channel i'm on and the name of the channel?
Also do they make Sirius ready head units
I'm looking on xm's website cant even find a subscription price

XM ready means it is capable of acting as a XM "tuner" to receive and display the info. All you need, if I'm not mistaken, is the XM antenna mounted on your car's exterior and the monthly service activated.

QD is right, Sirius has Shade 45,
That would be the one drawback about Sirius. Later, QD.
