I have a B16A JDM block loaded with pistons, crank, and a good timing belt. Would not hurt to re-ring and hone before it is assembled. Good compression last time was in a vehicle. $300.

And as far as it needs some work... Most people would do that to any junkyard or previously used motor. It is easy to do with the motor already out of the car.

$300 is a lot for a short block b16 that needs rebuilt...silversol is selling a (complete)b18 that needs nothing for $550 on here. ebay may be better for you !
