Alright...the hatch showed up here at the shop last night. So now it's time to think of paint schemes. I've already got three styles in mind, but I wanna see what ya'll may have in mind for being a "badass paintjob"

This car will be my DD (with the exception of when I'm going downtown or something like that. Especially seeing as osnap's car was recently stolen and has not yet been recovered, and my buddy's truck, the one you saw at sept's V-meet was broken into and some things stolen) so nothing EXTREMELY exciting...but still can turn a couple heads. Not to mention my ex-whore...I uh...recently told her off. Calling her a whore, a cheater, and that her motherhood and position as a wife be similar, and that I never wanted to hear from her STD-carrying ass again...she MIGHT be a little pissed...for a good while...

Anyways...throw up pictures, drawings, auto-cads, paintshops...whatever you got. Let me see some ideas ya'll may have.

i have many ideas in my head, but they're all for my car :tongue1:

speaking of that, i REALLY want to get a quote by your shop sometime Ben, to see how much money it's gonna cost. I plan on changing alot of things on my car, so i need to decide how deep of a hole it's gonna put in my wallet, ya know?

Ur just too far away.... think if i sent detailed pics of my car w/ the dents and **** your boss would be able to give a good estimate. EF Squad estimate?

LoL, I'm not taking anyone's ideas. I'm looking at some examples and ideas to come up with my own...hence...how I came up with the two or three I've got in my head. Taking someone else's ideas would just be gay...

Pictures won't do too much good. I mean there's alot more to paint than just that...

what kind of hatch? EG hatch or EF hatch?

personally id leave it STOCK! change the wheels, add some HID's, nice exhaust, suspension, clean once color paintjob, and one hell of a motor...

Are you wanting to stay with a gray/black paint job?
Or going for something different?

I've got ideas in my head, mostly of what I want to do with mine, but explain what you're going after and I can probably add in some good ideas. but you should keep those twin stripes on your driver fender.

I want to go for a Champ. White paint job, STD black bumpers(maybe SiR, I'm debating), "two mound" molding(or whatever its called) with a matching white pinstrip in the middle.
I'm also considering painting the top black if I get a CF hood, which after word I'd paint the spoiler black.

So no on the Periwinkle? :dunno:

yea Ben, i remember seeing that on sum exotic car.... it might have been from the pics of Le Mans the other weekend... ik i saw it sumwhere. but you definatly need to keep that w/ the new car.

And the side moldings you're talkin about are from an 88-89 hatch :goodjob:

What's wrong with simple one-color paint jobs?

The black/gray that's on my current hatch was just an idea that I wanted to see "drawn-out" so I threw it on the hatch. The main thing I don't like about it is bringing the hard-line between the back window and the back side window...cuz it's hard to make it line up as it wraps around the back of the vehicle.

No matter what the paint job is, it'll very very likely keep it's fender...

So no on the Periwinkle? :dunno:
I'll say yes...if you'll let me put that pep-boys rainbow tint on your back window...

you definatly need to keep that w/ the new car.
I will...highly highly likely...

I may use it for ideas...but I don't know about actually copying...

I work at a paintshop...so it's kind of expected I'd have something a "little more exciting". Plus, if I can get it to turn enough heads, it may bring business...thus meaning I get a raise, LoL. Which wouldn't be too bad, I don't think. However, I AM considering some one-tone paints...I've got two or three colors in mind...just how to mix them with the stripes (fenders, or pin)

I was hoping to bring the new EF to the last two-thirds of this meet...but I don't see it feasible... Not complete, anyways.
