I have on my project car liability only (legal minimum) plus uninsured motorist coverage.

This costs me $70 a month after tax, or out the door whatever.

I only have one points violation (73 in 55) so 2 points on my license.
otherwise had a 0 points violation a while back.

Does this sound about right or what are you guys paying?

this is for a car i valued at 4000 to insurance

I live in Dekalb, I register my **** in covington now because it is so much cheaper. Full coverage is always pretty high. Liability is much cheaper, if you go with a off brand insurance company. You will get hit over da head.

i paid $120/month for two S13s when i was in high school (i was 18). i paid like $105 when i only had one and then they raised it $15 when i added a second car (i had my own policy though, i guess they figured someone cannot drive 2 cars at the same exact time). anyways ive had full coverage ever since.

Liability Only = lose.

I have everything on my policy...rental, towing, 100/50/100 limits, $250 deductible...plus all my parts are covered, too. It really is worth the extra investment unless you absolutely can't afford it.

value of your car has nothing to do with cost of liability insurance.
