ok heres the scoop , i bought my EG from a guy who hack jobbed a factory motor swap , D15B7 , i am throwin the MAP sensor CEL, that is the only code it is throwin, after further investigation i realize , there is no sensor , not on the firewall nor on the TBhttp://hondaswap.com/images/smilies/confused.gifhttp://hondaswap.com/images/smilies/confused.gifhttp://hondaswap.com/images/smilies/confused.gifhttp://hondaswap.com/images/smilies/confused.gif, so at this point i am very f'n confused , the car runs descent but i know it will run better after i install the sensor, i am gettin about 190 miles to the tank , which i now is not right , and my car is runnin a lil rich , i have had it on the lift lookin for the MAP plug and couldnt ever find one , sooooooooo i have a sensor and another full harness from another sedan , could someone please post pics of the plug and where i would have to splice into for it to work , i know i can mount it anywhere , so that wont be a prob , i did check my Chiltons , but i didnt tell me **** , and i suck at readin the wirin diagrams , any help will greatly appreciated , thanx for lookin fellas!

There should be a plug somewhere, 3 wire. If you cant see the map sensor on the firewall, or tb then look for it hanging in the back w/ a vacuum line attached. If not, look for the connector, and put one in and attach it.

Its a 3 wire. Looks a lot like your TPS plug but don't get them mixed up...

there is no extra plug in my EB , we had it on a lift at the shop and there was not one to be found at all , on the top or the bottom of the motor , we also traced all of the harness throughout the bay and couldnt locate an extra one

Do you need the Factory Service Manual? Thats about the only place I know that has a good diagram. PM me if you need it.

92-93 civic had the map sensor and harness for it on the fire wall and not part of the engine harness. 94 -95 had it on the tb and it was part of the engine harness so you need a 94-95 harness and tb and the plug looks the exact same as the tps sensor on teh side of the tb.

found out they had a 92 motor and a 94 harness , i had to re-pin my harness for the sensor , soon as i did cel went off and it runs like a champ now , it dropped my idle from about 1200 to about 500-750
