I'm a huge fan of Honda. Which the day I became a full blown Honda fan was when I pulled 2 pressure washers from underneath a friends deck. Both had Honda 11hp motors. Been underneath the deck for two years. I take the up to a friend's machine shop and crank them up. I meant to pull it with the ignition off but I had it on and with a light tug by accident it cranked. The gas was terrible and had trouble running. So we drained the gas and filled it up with 93 octane. I guess 5-6 years later and it staying outside it still runs strong.

Also my parents just got a 2008 Honda Accord. That thing is sweet.

And another interesting thing that might interest some. A few years ago while interviewing John Shelby (Ford guy) they asked him what his favorite cars today are. He said what he really likes are the little 4cylinder cars such as the Hondas. He said that they are the true hotrodders today. Because what they are doing is taking the car their parents gave them and doing what they can to make it fast on what is usually a small budget.

Also my friend's father in law is a multi-millionare. He drove a I think 95 Toyota Tacoma extended cab that had over 500k miles on it and ran great. He could have owned anything but he drove that (Until he totaled it by hitting a bridge).

Bragging rights.

If anyone dogs on you bc you got a honda, just show them that. Just that they will still dog on you anyway.

There's a volvo somewhere that has over 2 million miles on it.

Lawrenceville GA had a Chevy 3500 that had over 1 million miles on it. Penzoil was the place it always had its oil changed, and I think Shell? Gave him a brand new truck in trade for that truck to tear down the engine ( he drove almost 3000 miles a week and had an oil change once a week )

so its nothing exciting about it. My sis' 89 Jeep Cherokee is clocking over 800,000 miles on the original engine and tranny ( and original water pump, which we think is starting to die )

Its all about maintenance and getting a bit lucky. Also not driving like an asshole is helpful.

You mean there is someone in Atlanta who doesn't drive like an Asshole???

I thought I heard that Toyota and Honda gives you a new car if you break 1million.
