will a 15x7.5 +40 wheel fit on a crx without scrubbing. i understand that tire size is the other factor involved but i dont quite understand the numbers for tires.... 185/65/14

14= wheel size obviously
65 = Width???
185 = ..... Height???

hell idk.

anyone know how this **** works? and will that wheel fit, and if so, with what tire size?

or will these wheels stick WAY out to the side???

other way around and i believe the 65 is proportional

gotcha.... so 185 is width or tire and 65 means tire height is 65% of width? ..... that would make sense.....

what about the wheels?

I don't think its quite like that...its a size. I wanna say they're in millimeters but I'm not sure so don't take my guess on it. But 185 is width, 65 is tire height from wheel, and 14 would be the wheel size....

Hmm...Never tried it. I think that is pretty wide. What size tire would it be on. I'm used to knowing the tire more than the width of the wheel...

I have 15x7.5 wheels +40 offset on my ef hatch right now.

I'll take some pics for you if you like. They sit nice and flush. :goodjob:

I say do it, and imho the lower the offset the better.

yeah man post em up. lower offset being <40? also is your car lowered?

some cars look horrible w/ wheels and no lowering kit, some dont.... i guess its personal opinion but what you think?
