i decided i want to mildly build a honda engine. only exp i have takin apart engines and rebuilding is an old chevy 350. i just ordered a half ton engine stand from harbor freight, and now i just need any obd1 honda longblock, preferrably any dohc or d16z6 will work, complete with entire head and bottom end. blown headgaskets/worn rings are ok since i will be rebuilding it anyways, long as any damage is not extensive(ie:hole in block, cracked sleeves..) just want to get myself familiar with the motor-taking it apart, boring/honing, etc before i decide to do any build work. the plan for a d16z6 would be some vitara pistons+eagle rods on stock sleeves. dohc would be some brand name pistons/rods on stock sleeves.

then whenever im through i might start searching for a shell.

my budget is 200-300. PM me what you got, post pictures, etc. im in suwanee.
