I removed the carburetor from my 89 Corolla, and i found some green liquid...(coolant obviously...) mixed in with the gasoline in the intake manifold.:( Now, what im wondering is, does this mean that theres a BIG problem that needs to be fixed?? or is this normal...? Its a Toyota 4AF engine.
Why is there coolant in the manifold...?

Well, it was coming out of a separate pathway....Maybe when i took the carburetor off, some of it spilled over and mixed in with the gas....?

I'm not sure bout the Corolla but on Hondas they have a separate passage way for coolant to come through from to the head so I'm pretty sure its the same. Or is it from the head to the block? Lol one way or the other the manifold gets coolant too... :D

You should be cool then, might take it by a local shop that you TRUST and just ask them to be 100% safe/sure.
