Onions :D

Seriously when my apendix ruptured, right before I went in to surgery the doctor was talking to her about living wills and the fact that surgery was risky. Seeing my wife getting scared and worried about it and not being able to console her really got to me.

Did they put you to sleep or just numb you? If they put you to sleep, ya, there is always the chance of you not waking back up... Which is why I only go to the hospital when I have to lol... I know too many people that were pretty healthy when they went to the hospital, and never made it out.

let's see,
#1) i shed a tear when i had to face the fact that my grandmother died and can't come back(well 2 years later)
she died of a massive stroke and heart attack while at work, the day after i talked to her. i was in the military at the time and when i found out i was informed by 2 patrolmen in my barracks who had been looking for me all day. i had a bad feeling the whole day and i avoided my barracks all day till midnight, cause i knew i had a bad feeling about a phone call. they stood walked me to the phone and stood by me as i answered and got the news. i swallowed my emotions, took it all in and chose to deny it was true for 2 years. well 2 years later mom calls me telling me that the wrongful death settlement came through from her death and asked if i wanted anything, i told her i wanted granny back, she said it can't happen she's gone, i finally was forced with that reality, hung up and cried. the next day i was amazed at what i told my mom on the phone. weird how even as adults, if a parental(i.eolder) loved one we've known our whole lives dies, we sometimes revert to kids again. weird.

#2)shed a tear when i was walking out the door, last bag in hand, of a house i spent 2 years in, with a person i spent the previous 7 years with. it was really bad 'cause the puppy i bought her in january 04 as a late c-mas gift was trying to get out of the door with me and was wimpering (he knew something was wrong), imagine hearing your now ex telling the puppy, "you can't go..."while crying, repeatedly cause he was really pushing hard to get out, then realize that, due to the situation at hand, those words werent completely meant for him.

#3) when i left the military 'cause i felt like i left all my buddies behind, like i abandoned them. i knew i was gonna miss the comraderie.

#4) the first time i watched the movie "ROSEWOOD" starring ving rhames and don cheadle. 'cause the pure anger and hurt that this movie was based on true events in a florida city of the same name.

#5) when i first seen the movie "JOHN Q" 'cause when denzel washington said, " i'm not gonna bury my son! he's supposed to bury me..." that's what my dad told me when i was younger and wilding out. and ultimately after seeing the anguish my friends' parents went through when she was murdered, i realized there that no parent is supposed to bury their children.

That made me cry.... :( I understand the puppy thing... I got a puppy for my birthday, and when we split up it was just best for her to stay with the ex... The saddest thing was when she tried to get into my car to go for a car ride and the look on her face when I told her she couldnt come. Everytime I see her now she gets soooo excited as if she knows that when I leave that it's for a long time... :(

Sad or happy movies make me cry too... and just being really happy! Love makes me cry... a happy cry of course.

When my Grandmother died, that was the worst. I didn't think I was going to stop... It's been almost a year and i still cry sometimes.

And being a girl and all... Sometimes I just cry for the hell of it. If I have had just a horrible day or something I'll just cry... I always feel so much better afterward. Crying realeases endorphins or something another, lol

-Thinking about my grandfather who died last year

-Thinking about my friend Reese who was killed down at GSU and found floating in one of the apartment lakes

-Thinking about how I want my family (Ie- Kids when I have them down the road) to have a father and not grow up like i did with only a mother.

-My car accident last year

yeah, those were the few times that i've shed a tear. one thing i can tell people is that t obe true to who you are, you gotta know when to cry and when it's not needed. there's nothing wrong with a 230lb. man shedding a tear when he needs to. we are human after all and when things happen that call for a tear let it out then, cause if you dont , that emotion will manifest itself in other ways.

like when my grandmother died, the night i found out, i shut off all emotion. i didnt talk for the whole week leading to the funeral and for a week afterwards. i didnt cry at the funeral, or any other time for 2 whole years. during that time i emotionally distanced myself from my friends, family and my ex. 'cause in my head, if they died, i didnt want to feel that pain again. needless to say i wyld out during that time. smokin hella weed(though i know i'm not a weed smoker, but it dulled the pain) i drank like a sailor,(oh, i was a sailor!!) and fought like a battlecat, here and in pensacola. but, eventually i grieved like i should've and funny enough, at the end of the 2 years figurativly speaking, the sun shine came from behind the clouds, for the first time in a while

Hence, the crying, but the upside is that it will be repaid within 5 years. Always helps when your employer pays off a precentage. :)
