To me I more than likely will never spend 28k on any car. I like having cars that are paid for, which are under 5k. Im not arguing with you because arguing on a thread on a forum with people whom I have never met is pointless. I'm sure you're a good guy just dont get so wound up over peoples opinions, especially when they are not of your own car.

EDIT: Honestly if I had extra money laying around I would do something like most people and spring on a chance like this. But chances are I will not have sums of money this large laying around, hence my opinions that there is better things to spend the money on.

well it just ended and the reserve wasn't met. i have only live here in the south for about a year and i don't go to car shows and event much so i haven't heard about yellow fever but now i do. great little car and great project. looking at the pics i know it's time consuming and lots of work had been put in. props to the builder.

the same reason i'd pay 10k for a 240, people will pay 28k for the 510. hardwork, time, effort, money, and things you can't do yourself, or just dont have the patience for.

simply put. its a damned rare/gorgeous car and collectors/enthusiasts will jump all over it if they want to.
