If a car has a NY registration and I want to make it
registered in Georgia does it have to go through an inspection
or is it just like Tennessee and you just goto Atlanta and they give you another Title in GA?

Yep, but it you bought it at an out of state deal you have to pay taxes on it along with the $18 registration and $20 for the tag.

ITS LIKE $180 I THINK IF YOU NEED A NUMBER TO THE PLACE TO GET IT DONE PM ME AND ILL SEE IF I CAN FIND IT

was thinking about trading cars with someone but not goin to risk it not passing inspection....

if you live in the 11 or so metro Atl counties you must get an emissions test. get it registered in barrow county and call it a day
