You may or may not be familiar with the Formula SAE program, but it's more or less an international competition where schools build small formula-style race cars and compete against over a hundred schools in Detroit in mid-May. I planned to join the FSAE program wherever I went to college, and now that I've been here for about a month we're starting to get into design of next year's car.

These pictures are from a shakedown we did today with last year's car to get ideas for the design of this year's car (08). We're also trying to straighten out the suspension issues that this car's been having so we can have a reliable testbed and driver training car for this season. Anyway, enough :blah:.

Wish my camera were better-suited for action shots, sorry. I took a ton of video, so maybe when I have free time I'll upload a few clips... but right now I need to study for chem and do all kinds of crap. :(

I didn't build this car so I'm not 100% positive, but per our website it's a Honda CBR600F4i. It's got a tiny ass (20 mm I believe) restrictor on it that holds horsepower to about 80.
