Hey guys, Figured I'd post some pics up real quick while we have a few mins of down time. Today was the practice session. We did pretty well today. And still have some dialing out with the new KW suspension. Tomorrow is going to be interesting!

Enjoy!

Yes, I talked with him earlier today. I dunno how well the S15 is doing. But the JIC Porsche is very quick.

Just because the car is quick doesn't mean they know anything about aerodynamics, the wing attached like that is no more functional than a trunk mounted one.

Yeah.... because mounting a wing onto a carbon fiber trunk with probably a fiber glass shell...is safe. lol

You want to bet money on that. You really have no ****ing idea how much work and R&D went into that wing. Its hanging that far off the back to put it in clean air and the struts on the wing go all the way down to the frame rails.

I'm sure plenty of R&D went into it, but I know a thing or two about aerodynamics. You may want to reread what I said. Ran stated that it is functional and implied that the others weren't. I stated otherwise. And to an extent (a marginal one) I am right.

Yes, engine is holding up fine. Suspension is needing more dialing in. But we are getting there.

I believe they are 275's the guys from dentsport were really nice. Their Evo III has a lot of potential.

Sweet! I hope you kick AMS's assssss! Is there a lot of people there? I was wondering how the series participation is. I had heard previously that it was a little sparse (did it get canceled in Atlanta?). Seems to me like the JIC/Hankook Porsche is better suited for time attack rather than drifting. Hopefully it will do well. That car is sick.

I hadn't seen that video, but I'm sure I heard that it didn't do all that well In FD the time it made it out. Looks to me like it has a hard time keeping the drift and transitioning. Still bad ass none the less. The driver hasn't had all that much seat time in it. It was supposed to be finished for the first FD event and just got finished for the 2nd to last one.

I'm sure you know what ever you have read about aerodynamics. I'm sure that those guys have plenty of cfd data to go with that wing.

They look huge on there LOL. Good luck in the rest of the series, I read a snippet in last month's Car and Driver and I was like dang I saw that car being prepped at the TS dyno day a few months ago.

Yeah, we may be done for the redline series this year. The haul to California will prolly be a little much being away from the shop that long.
