my tail lites go out randomly?

im tryiong to find out what might be causing the problem. the tail lites on my 99 civic cx randomly go out and i dont know why. i checked them for water and rust, and all the bulbs are good. I'm in the middle of checkin all the wiring and the switch right now. If any one has any ideas or help it would be greatly appreciated

o yea and the brake lites still work? i just dont get it

you got bad bulbs, happened to my sidemarker bulbs one time. every now and then they would work and when they didnt work i tapped on them and they magically came on. came to the conclusion that they were bad bulbs, replaced them and it never happened again

might be a bad relay or tail light switch or wireing...

toook the switch apart and it looked good
checked all the wiring and couldnt find a short (unless its inside the insulation)
and all the bulbs are good

are you sure the bulbs are good? whenever they go out, tap on them and see what happens

mystep dads does that,and its the prongs that are in the housing to the bulb are touching once u put pressure on it,but once u start doing DD driving it it bonces and comes loose and goes out..check and make sure the prongs are staying connected/touching.

lights is spelled L-I-G-H-T-S, just so you know
